If you look through this site you will not find any stock images Stock images are photos, illustrations, videos, and audio files that can be bought on sites like iStock. You'll have seen them before. Two business men shaking hands. A well groomed woman smiling and looking at a laptop. A graph of sales going up, up, up! They are generic and bland, bland, bland .

Perform to the audience not the cast This is advice for actors. Because they spend all their time with other actors, the other actors become their peer group. They watch other actors and judge themselves by them. But what about the audience, they are the ones you need to impress, after all they are the people that pay your wages.

If you want to be good at something, you need to be prepared to be bad at it. So write some content for yor website. It might not read too well to start with, but you can change it over time, add a bit here add a bit there. Accept that it won't be perfect to start with, but also see that it will improve as you put the work in.

When someone buys your product make sure you ask them why they bought it. Then you can use that feedback to deepen your understanding - and you can use it in sales copy and testimonials

It's easy to get overwhelmed. Trying to have a presence on all the different social media platforms. You are better off focusing on the one or two that are appropriate to your audience, and you feel comfortable using. For me it's Twitter, and a few forums. Remember Apple has done very well without having a Facebook page.
